Context

Creation of the launch campaign for the future Jo&Joe Paris youth hostel, which opened in September, 2018. The aim is to encourage the travelgoers (tourists) to stay in the French capital and the townsters (Parisians) to have a good time at home. Jo&Joe Paris wants you to share a friendly moment with friends, and allow its community to meet and exchange.

Concept

Jo&Joe Paris is no longer just a youth hostel, but a community that allows tourists and locals to share their talents together to gain benefits on the establishment. This multicultural ecosystem will live by itself by creating events by people for people. Offer your talent, share your experience and enjoy your tips.

Crypt Jo money

The goal of this virtual currency, managed by the institution, is to multiply the initiatives of creation of exchanges. This is how it will circulate inside Jo&Joe Paris by giving tips to people who make us live an enriching experience through the workshops.

• Creation of an account = 4 Jo's 
• The creation of a workshop = 5 Jo's
• Participation in a workshop = 1 Jo

[Participants can then tip the creator of the workshop as much as they want.]

The redesign of the application, to make it more attractive, intuitive and in line with the creation of our CryptJo currency is the key tool of our concept.

Joy & humor will always be there at Jo&Joe Paris

A poster campaign was set up near the Parisian train and metro stations, to announce the opening of Jo&Joe in Paris. By using memes from social media platforms that were famous during the year 2017, the target costumer group was directly addressed. Combining humour and the latest news, the campaign perfectly matched the identity and translated the motto of Jo&Joe.

Opening night, because what's a hostel without a good party?

A wild advertising campaign around the Parisian schools will be set up announcing the opening night of Jo&Joe Paris on September 15, 2018.
